Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all purchases, payments, enrollments, and transactions made on or through www.swatanvastram.in. By enrolling in any course or making any payment with Swatan Vastram, you agree to be bound by this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not proceed with enrollment or payment.

• All payments made through UPI, PhonePe, Cashfree, or any approved method

• All users located within India

2.1 Digital & Educational Services

Swatan Vastram primarily offers educational and skill-based courses related to fashion design, stitching, and garment creation.

2.2 Intangible Services

Since courses involve:

• Knowledge sharing

• Skill development

• Time, effort, and resources from the instructor

they are considered intangible services, and therefore refund rules are strict.

3. Course Enrollment Policy

3.1 Confirmation of Enrollment

Course enrollment is considered confirmed once:

• The user has communicated enrollment intent

• Payment (full or partial, if applicable) is completed

3.2 User Responsibility Before Enrollment

Users are advised to:

• Carefully review course details

• Understand course structure and requirements

• Ask all relevant questions before making payment

Swatan Vastram shall not be responsible for misunderstandings after enrollment.

4. Refund Policy for Courses

4.1 General Refund Rule

👉 All courses offered by Swatan Vastram are NON-REFUNDABLE by default.

Once a user enrolls in a course, no refund shall be provided under normal circumstances.

4.2 Exception Window (If Applicable)

In rare and exceptional cases, a refund request may be considered only if:

• The request is raised within 10 days of payment

• The user has not accessed or attended course sessions

• The request is supported by valid and genuine reasons

Approval of such refunds is entirely at the discretion of Swatan Vastram.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

5.1 No Refund Shall Be Issued If:

• The course has already started

• The user has attended any class/session

• Course materials have been shared

• Delay or absence is caused by the user

• The user changes their mind after enrollment

• The user claims lack of time or interest

5.2 Course Completion

No refund will be provided once:

• The course duration has ended

• A significant portion of the course has been delivered

6. Custom & Personalized Services

6.1 Custom Services Policy

Any customized, personalized, or tailor-made services, including:

• Special guidance

• Custom course structure

• One-to-one sessions

are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

6.2 Reason

These services require dedicated time and preparation, making refunds impractical.

7. Cancellation Policy

7.1 Cancellation by User

Users may request cancellation by contacting Swatan Vastram via official email.

However:

• Cancellation does not guarantee a refund

• Refund eligibility will be evaluated as per this policy

7.2 Cancellation by Swatan Vastram

Swatan Vastram reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to:

• Unforeseen circumstances

• Instructor unavailability

• Technical or operational issues

In such cases, users may be offered:

• Course rescheduling

• Alternative batch

• Credit for future courses

Refunds, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of Swatan Vastram.

8. Payment Method & Refund Processing

8.1 Mode of Refund

If a refund is approved:

• Refunds will be processed via the original payment method

• No cash refunds will be issued

8.2 Processing Time

Approved refunds may take:

• 7 to 14 working days
  depending on bank or payment gateway processing time.

Swatan Vastram is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers.

9. Partial Payments & Advance Fees

9.1 Advance Payments

Any advance or booking amount paid:

• Is considered a commitment fee

• Is non-refundable

9.2 Partial Course Fees

If the user has paid part of the course fee:

• No refund will be issued for the paid amount

• Remaining unpaid amount does not create refund liability

10. Transfer of Enrollment

10.1 Non-Transferable Policy

Course enrollment is:

• Non-transferable

• Cannot be assigned to another person

Requests for transfer will not be entertained.

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

11.1 Unauthorized Chargebacks

Users are strongly discouraged from initiating chargebacks without contacting Swatan Vastram first.

11.2 Consequences

In case of unjustified chargebacks:

• Access to services may be suspended

• Legal action may be initiated if required

All refunds, if approved, are processed digitally only.
